Little Things

I love how my little guy walks in the door after school every day and hollars "I'm hoooooome". Makes my day!! I didn't realize how much I wait for that one moment of the day until it was gone. Friday, he come home with sad tired eyes. Instead of his usual "I'm hooooome" he just gave me a little smile and went to bed. Every night at supper while I'm cooking, he's right there with his fingers in the pots, "Mmmm, your a GENeeUS Mom!!!!", I missed that!! Reminded me, in the grand scheme of things, not to take the little things for granted that make our days so special. Happy to report, all better and back up and runnin ;)

Beth Long has an new kit out, "Autumn Splendor" full of the warm rich colors of Autumn, fun to play with. It's on sale 25% off until January 17th!!
As a special bonus, THIS WEEK ONLY, if you buy Autumn Splendor, you'll get these matching Brag Book Pages totally free!! I love Beth's Quick Pages. I like to call her the "Queen of QP's" LOL!! Her's are always awesome and my favorites to use. There great to have on hand for that "quick gift" when your in a bit of a hurry. My family and friends love and appreciate those little personalized gifts, always a big hit around here.
Here's a layout I made using Autumn Splendor. The whirliwhigs were fun to play with. They always seem to give your pages that little "whimsical" touch. This is one of my guys. That smile, still melts my heart even though he's grown now LOL!! Son't let that smile fool you, this one was a STINKER when he was a little boy, still is ;) That smile saved that kids butt more than one time LOL!!!
Beth also has a little add on freebie on her blog for and Kim B has made a cute QP freebie as well on her blog.

Miss Kim also has an AWESOME January CU Grab Bag. There are some cool goodies in there. She's given us $40 worth of goodies, all for the small price of $8. It's only on sale until Friday at midnight, then all 6 kits go full price individually so be sure to snag it quick.
Here's a little look at one of the overlays she's got in there. I made this layout for my mom. She was in the fourth grade in this picture, she has the most beautiful eyes that do burn into your soul, especially when your in trouble LOL!! ;)
I made a couple new bookmarks this week and thought I'd share them. I used Jofia Devoes AWESOME kit "Dream Whispers". My daughter had me print tons for her classmates, proud to say they were a big hit LOL!!
CLICK HERE to download and have a safe and happy week.

Just poppin' in to say hi! I look forward to getting to know you on Beth's CT.

LOVED your story - it's sooo true. Today we had a boiler malfunction in conjunction with a CO2 malfunction and we're blessed to be alive. So I really appreciate the sentiment behind what you're saying.

Just LOVE your LO's too :)
